Viking Foams concentrates are designed to be used in systems for the best possible fire control over most types of flammable liquid hazards.

Viking AR-AFFF and AFFF foams are fast-acting synthetic foams designed to spread quickly on the surface of burning fuel. Unlike conventional foams and aqueous solution drains from the foam bubbles forming a continuous vapor sealing, vapor suppression film.

Clean Agent Suppresion Systems provides an enviromentally-acceptable solution for your fire protection needs, where clean-up presents a problem, where an electrically non-conductive medium is needed, and where people compatibility is an overriding factor. On a weight-of-agent baisis, the Clean Agent Suppresion System is a very efective fire fighting agent.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency's SNAP Report states: 'HFC227ea (FM-200) is the most effective of the proposed HFC substitudes."

Carbon Dioxide is an environmentally-safe gas that is colorless, odorless electrically non-conductive, and efficient as a fire supression agent. Carbon dioxide has a high ratio of expansion which facilitates rapid discharge and allows for three dimensional penetration of the entire hazard quickly. It extinguishes a fire by reducing the oxygen content of the protected area below the point where it can support combustion. It has no residual clean-up associated with its use as a fire suppressing agent. Carbon dioxide can be use to protect a wide variety of hazards to fit your industrial, commercial, and marine/offshore fire protection needs.

Water Mist Systems extinguish fires using the following basic principles:

  • Cooling - as the mist in converted into vapor, it removes heat from the fire source.
  • Inerting - as the water mist turns to steam, it expands approximately 1700 times, forcing oxygen away from the flame front, thus denying it the oxygen necessary to support combustion (localized inert environment).
  • Wetting - primarily for incidental Class A Fire; wetting of the surface helps extinguish the fire as well as contain it.
